World Book Day 2017
The main idea we've had is for everyone (staff and students) to display a picture on their body somehow, of their favourite ever book. This could be a colour photocopy of a colouring in/drawing or just a printed collage of images from the internet.
A coffee & biscuits event is held every Thursday from noon to 1pm, in the Meeting Room.

The boys behaved fantastically and kept going till the end.
Unfortunately we lost 4-2, JB scored both of our goals!
National Obesity Week - 9th - 15th January 2017
Last week we had a whole school focus on healthy living, healthy eating and exercising for National Obesity Week.
Students across the school were giving nutrition advice across various platforms including lessons, assemblies and in breakfast club.
As a school we ran two secondary school assemblies on National Obesity, this gave all our students and staff to take part in fantastic circuit training sessions. The music was blaring and nearly all the students were taking part in a range of excises. It really was excellent to see and the whole staff team were really impressed with all the effort given by students!
Please take your time to have a look at http://www.nationalobesityforum.org.uk/ for more information.
