In teams of four they prepared and served a full English breakfast that included black pudding and Haggis (It was burns night during the same week) Eggs were either poached or scrambled and brown bread was a popular choice.
Cereal bars and Recipe books were given out to each pupil as well as trying oat and rice cakes.

Mousetrap Theatre Project

Mousetrap Theatre Project

Wandle Valley Pupils have been working with Mousetrap Theatre Project. A drama project inspiring young people to get involved with acting.

Mousetrap gave 10 pupils the opportunity to visit the west end and watch performances of Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre on the 18th January 2012.

Then on the 24th January 2012 John and Rosie from Mousetrap followed up their theatre experience with a hands on drama workshop challenging our pupils to work together as a team to produce their own production of Lion King.

It was a fantastic opportunity working as a team and having to act in character and help produce their own lines and storytelling. All the pupils and staff involved found it very rewarding.

There are some photos of the pupils involved with the activity in our School Gallery.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mousetrap who made this possible and look forward to working with them in the near future.
